Wet en route to the Perigord

Rain was expected and did not disappoint. We took the tent down soaking wet ... the tent and us were dripping. The rain kept up as we drove south, destination Vergt campsite.

At Brantome we decided to take a hotel for the night. It's an Abbey town, encircled by rivers and very special.

We had a 23€ lunch of salad de gesiers, confit de canard and coffee. By 2pm the rain was easing a little. We walked round sightseeing before checking in to Hotel le Coligny and crashing out.
