Going up, down and round in Cirques

Started with coffee at the Cafe de l'Union then cycled from Le Bugue to Limeuil where the Dordogne and Vezere meet. Had pain au raison on the beach for breakfast before braving the climbs to Tremolet.

At Tremolat we crossed the river and got lost, taking the high wiggly route. We found our way back to the Abbey at Cadioun. Fairly flat, mostly down very beautiful . Had lunch around 2pm - pork slices from yesterday's market. Salvation from hunger at last.

We had coffee's in a delightful cafe by the Abbey then set off on the homeward stretch. Google suggested a great route, direct to Limeuil which was fast and mostly downhill. So at Limeuil we got to cycle over both bridges !

We retraced our route back home arriving about 4pm after 30 miles riding. Definitely deserved our swim and big beers tonight!
