Day 3: la Victoria / Alcudia

Monday morning after breakfast we went along the coast to Alcudia. Skirted round the town and headed out to climb up to the nunnery at La Victoria. Praise be for ebikes!

Back in Alcudia we headed straight to our favourite bar by the bus stop. It was warm enough to sit out in the square. We had mixed tapas and bacalau plus chiperones. All excellent.

We came back via the lovely network of back lanes rather than take the coast road again.

The streams are in full flow.

We cycled 37 km today- 24 miles.

That evening we explored the area behind the main tourist drag. Found a great bar - la Bodeguita, where we had Cruz Campo beer and a free plate of egg potatoes salad.

Special seafood - scallops and massive prawns on homemade linguine

Then went to an Italian restaurant, The Moll del Belagia for pasta, seeing as we have some big rides planned !
