Classic Dordogne ride

Drove 40mins to cenac julien and parked.

Cycled out past Castelnau, along the Dordogne, past chateau Milland, crossed at Allas des mines, then a track most of the way to Benac.

Lunch ! Arrived at a busy Benac and ate at the Restaurant du Chateau. Shared a very good salmon starter. The menu of the day a supreme de volaille with ratatouille and potato. Chicken stuffed to look and taste like sushi. 50CL rose and 2 beers for 63€.

A fast cycle back on busy roads - 23 miles.

The warmest day so far. K braved the big unheated pool but I stuck to the heated one as we enjoyed our final swim.
